Cooking Instructions
Cooking your corn rice is simple and follows a similar process to regular rice:
Rinse: Wash the corn grits 2 to 3 times with cold water.
Ratio: Use 2 to 2.5 cups of water for every 1 cup of corn grits (adjust based on your preferred fluffiness).
Boil & Simmer: Bring water to a boil, add the grits, then lower the heat. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes (or up to 30 minutes for a softer texture).
Rest: Turn off the heat and let it sit covered for 5–10 minutes to achieve a perfectly fluffy finish.
